StayOn or Airalo: which is cheaper for Cyprus and Turkey
We compared StayOn, Airalo and Holafly prices for the same plans in Cyprus and Turkey. Tables, pros and cons, and when to choose which.
Airalo is the best-known seller of travel eSIMs. We compared its prices with ours for the same plans, and for Turkey we added Holafly with unlimited data. Where Airalo is cheaper, we say so too.
Prices checked on 25 October 2026
How we compared. StayOn prices are from our website, in euros. Airalo prices are from the esimdb.com catalogue and Holafly prices from its official website, both in US dollars. The dollar is worth less than the euro, so in euros Airalo and Holafly prices would be slightly lower than shown. Prices change, so check the current ones before you buy.

Turkey: Holafly unlimited or a plan with gigabytes
Holafly sells unlimited data for a fixed period. Sharing data with a laptop is limited to 1 GB a day.
| Period | Holafly, unlimited | StayOn for this period |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days | $27.50 | 10 GB for 30 days, €9.99 |
| 15 days | $50.50 | 20 GB for 30 days, €15.99 |
| 30 days | $73.90 | 50 GB for 30 days, €22.99 |
Most travellers need about 10 GB a week: maps, messengers, social media and calls. Unlimited makes sense if you watch a lot of video every day and don't want to count gigabytes.
Which to choose
- StayOn: Turkey with any amount of data and Cyprus up to 10 GB. Small plans last longer, and support is on WhatsApp.
- Airalo: a month in Cyprus with 20 GB, or if you like keeping eSIMs for many countries in one app from a big provider.
- Holafly: lots of video every day and no wish to track your data, if the hotspot limit works for you.
